IDEA Association (Indonesia Idea and Analytics Association<\/strong>)<\/strong> <\/strong>is an organization engaged in research, advocacy, capacity building and organizing bases with bias aimed at vulnerable groups whose access to basic rights services is blocked. The organization's vision is the realization of people's sovereignty in the public sphere which is marked by the fulfillment of civil and political rights, as well as the economic, social and cultural rights of the people. The organization also has a mission to encourage democratic political processes to fulfill the basic rights of citizens through policy changes, strengthening the base and increasing public awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IDEA, in collaboration with HIVOS and supported by the European Union, implemented Strengthening Public Services through the Empowerment of women-led Advocacy and social audit networks (SPEAK)<\/em> in Semarang City and Bojonegoro Regency for 20 months. The program requires human resource support in the following positions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finance Officer (FiO) 1 person<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position: full time<\/em> to work in Yogyakarta for the period January 2021 \u2013 February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FiO SPEAK Main Tasks and Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Prepare project financial planning together with the project team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Perform project administration functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Check and control the project's financial cash flow in coordination with the IDEA cashier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Checking and verifying advance payment applications and accountability for advance payments for project team and project consultant activities and travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Verify evidence of project financial transactions before entering the IDEA cashier together with the program team and program manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Create project financial reports in coordination with the financial manager according to project provisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Control the project financial system if there are changes to the budget and changes related to the project financial policy in coordination with the project team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Monitor project financial report audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the implementation and performance of the SPEAK program financial system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. S1 Accounting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Minimum 2-3 years experience in an equivalent position in a local or national NGO.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Mastering taxation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Able to communicate fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Good interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for co-workers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Able to work both individually and as part of a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Able to create supportive working relationships among all teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Willing to travel out of town.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Mastering financial accounting systems and QUICKBOOK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
