04/13/2015 as many as 30 MSMEs from Magelang Regency participated in the FGD on the Preparation of Business Continuity Plans (RKU) at the Pondok Tingal Borobudur Hotel. This activity was held to equip MSMEs in facing disasters. As we all know, Magelang Regency, especially in the eastern part (Salam, Srumbung, Muntilan sub-districts) in 2010, these MSMEs were greatly affected by the eruption of Mount Merapi. Many business activities had to close down or at least had to stop for a while because of the impact.
To anticipate if another disaster occurs, these MSMEs feel the need to plan and strategize to face disasters by compiling the RKU. It is hoped that with this activity, MSMEs in Magelang Regency will have planning and mapping with multi-stakeholder networks to increase their resilience in facing disasters. (adm)
